This year, Polygonica will be visiting the Game Developers Conference (better known as GDC) in San Francisco between March 17th and 21st. Sales Manager, David Knight and Marketing Manager, Cristina Sesma will be there introducing our polygonal solid modelling toolkit to the gaming industry.
Polygonica is a successful software toolkit for within the 3D printing industry however polygon mesh processing applies to very many different market sectors. The number of enquiries from markets outside of our core engineering, subtractive and additive manufacturing markets has increased dramatically in recent months. In particular, enquiries from the Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools which are mesh based.
Fast and robust Booleans operations, solid simplification and solid offsetting are essential tools for generating compelling gaming content. "We're hoping to make some key contacts and learn more about the requirements of this large and complex industry. Not to mention the famous parties." says David Knight.
