Ready for the Colour Challenge
MachineWorks will be demonstrating the exciting new features of Polygonica 1.2, including automated healing of complex meshes for additive manufacturing with support for full colour texture mapped models. Latest hardware innovations prove that full colour 3D printing is becoming the norm rather than the exception. The Polygonica team have been working hard to ensure that the software required to prepare 3D models for full colour printing will not be a limiting factor.
Beyond STL files
Polygonica's advanced mesh repair algorithms carefully interpolate texture coordinates during the healing process, meaning that model files in formats such as Wavefront OBJ, 3ds Max, FBX and VRML can be processed directly without the need to re-project the texture. Support for user- defined data means that Polygonica can handle complex assemblies with multiple textures.
Polygonica Analysis Tools
Also on display are some of the advanced geometrical algorithms within Polygonica that allow easy computation of mesh quality metrics, including mesh comparison, overhang and thin wall analysis.
MachineWorks is hiring
MachineWorks are on the lookout for talented software developers and quality assurance testers - particularly those with experience in computational geometry - to help drive development of our software engines. MachineWorks strong technical team keeps a step ahead of customers' requirements by providing innovative software solutions.
Celebrating 20 Years of Manufacturing Software
MachineWorks is the underlying technology behind Polygonica. Developed and optimised over the last 20 years, and providing state- of- the- art manufacturing software since 1994. The long term partnerships we have forged over this time, working on innovative projects, have allowed MachineWorks to accumulate a wealth of experience to support any challenges.
MachineWorks double the presence at Euromold in Halls 8 and 11
MachineWorks will have two stands at Euromold 2014 . The MachineWorks toolkit will be located in Hall 8 Stand H09 with the CNC hardware and software providers, many of whom are long time customers of MachineWorks Software. Stand B86 in Hall 11 will be displaying Polygonica Software and is oriented towards the 3D printing market.
