The first edition of the TCT Awards was a magical evening, bringing together the latest and most exciting projects and technologies from the additive manufacturing industry. It was a celebration of Innovation in 3D technology and a recognition to both leading manufacturers and users across the world.
MachineWorks Polygonica had the honour of receiving the TCT Technology Innovation Software Award.
From left to right, we have the host presenter, Robert Llewellyn (better known as Kryten, the android from Red Dwarf), Fenqiang Lin, Managing Director of MachineWorks, Mike Nicholson, Sales Director, Robin Wilson from Innovate UK, Cristina Sesma, Marketing Manager and Richard Baxter, Sales Manager.
MachineWorks is a relatively small and little known component provider that has been developing advanced software technology for solving complex geometrical problems for over twenty years. Back at the dinner table where the MachineWorks team sat emotions were running high so when the presenter shouted Polygonica as the winner - we could not believe it!
To win the TCT software innovation award was a great honour but the merit needs to be shared. Without customers who believed and invested in our technology, Polygonica would not be here today. MachineWorks would like to extend a big thank you to all its customers who had integrated our software, to its own hard working team back in Sheffield, to Innovate UK and to the TCT Group.
