We are very excited about the announcement today (http://www.techsoft3d.com/about-us/press-releases/tech-soft-3d-selected-as-strategic-sales-partner-for-polygonica) that Tech Soft 3D will be adding Polygonica to their portfolio of products.
For those not familiar with Tech Soft 3D, they were founded in 1996 as a spin-out from Autodesk, to productize the HOOPS 3D Graphic System. This powerful API forms an integral part of many well known CAD and CAE products, and Tech Soft 3D count amongst their customers such industry heavyweights as Alibre, Ansys, Autodesk, Bentley, Geomagic, IronCAD, MSC Software, PTC, SolidWorks and TransMagic.
Over the years, they have expanded their portfolio of products from the original HOOPS (now named HOOPS Visualize), to include HOOPS Exchange API for CAD data access, HOOPS Publish for PDF authoring and HOOPS Communicator for cloud and mobile solutions. Additionally, they are OEM partners for AutoCAD and Inventor from Autodesk, and resellers of the Parasolid Solid Modelling Kernel from Siemens PLM.
Over the next few weeks, we will look at some of these products in detail and see how they fit with Polygonica.
