SHEFFIELD - 12th December, 2013 - Renishaw, a world leading supplier of measurement products, has selected Polygonica software developed by MachineWorks Ltd, provider of CNC simulation & verification and polygonal mesh processing software, for use by its Dental Division.
The Polygonica solid modelling toolkit is to be integrated into the Renishaw dental manufacturing system and supplied with Renishaw AM250 laser melting machines used to make dental frameworks and medical implants and prostheses in a range of metals with highly complex geometries. Polygonica will provide solid healing, boolean operations, simplification, offsetting and profile generation within Renishaw dental manufacturing systems.
