28th June 2024 - MachineWorks Ltd to display the latest releases of MachineWorks and Polygonica at IMTS, September 9th – 14th, Chicago, and at Formnext, November 19th - 22nd, Frankfurt.
The MachineWorks 8.6 release contains a range of updates, including
- Toolpath solids - a single solid of material removed by an entire toolpath, or portion of it
- Computation of the end position engagement surface, for cutting force analysis
- Improved support for U-axis machining with d'Andrea tool head
- Improved support for broaching operations
- Support for a wider range of eccentric turning operations
- Support for additive simulation in the application framework and machine simulation libraries
- Support for snapshots / bookmarks for MachineWorks' sampled material removal engine
- Transparency for design part comparison in Rapidcut
- Direct support for highlighting in MachineWorks' browser client library
At IMTS, previews of the upcoming Polygonica 3.4 release will be available, with the full range of new functionality on display at Formnext.
