November 8th 2022 - MachineWorks Ltd will be exhibiting the latest release of Polygonica at Formnext 2022, November 15th – 18th, in Frankfurt.
Polygonica is the leading software library for polygon-mesh modelling. Polygonica provides a very wide range of mesh operations, with features including healing, Booleans, offsetting, hollowing, remeshing, shrinkwrap, surface fitting, feature detection and point-cloud manipulation and meshing.
The recent release of Polygonica 3.2 sees the introduction of mesh deformation for simulation or scan guided compensation of shrinkage and warping during the print process. Other new features include 3D medial axis for mid-surface creation and accurate mesh-mesh alignment for registration.
